Digital Book Release

Our former fellow Shahzad Bashir's innovative digital book, A New Vision for Islamic Pasts and Futures, is out and now available online. This interactive, open-access book invites readers to explore Islam through diverse Islamic artifacts, texts, and phenomena entwining over fourteen centuries across different parts of the world.

Bashir’s electronic monograph is a collaboration between the MIT Press and the Digital Publications Initiative of Brown University.
