In 2012 Tyler Hoerr received a Bachelor’s in History from Illinois State University. Also graduating with a minor in Religious Studies, Tyler has enjoyed learning and interacting with other disciplines, while conducting his own historiographical research. He began the Global History MA program at Freie Universität and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin in 2016. In 2019 he completed the program, with his Master’s Thesis titled “Mennonite Belonging and Changing Notions of Citizenship, 1870-1918." In 2019-20, he has worked as a Research Associate at the Einstein Center Chronoi.
